GI4C applies defined responsibilities, financial controls and reporting procedures to prevent and address fraud, corruption, bribery, misuse of resources and conflicts of interest.
At Global Impact for Communities (GI4C), integrity, accountability, human dignity and responsible stewardship guide how we work. Our established governance policies and procedures protect the people we serve, the resources entrusted to us and the information we manage.
GI4C maintains and applies institutional procedures covering ethical conduct, financial management, responsible procurement, inclusion, safeguarding and data protection. These procedures form part of our core governance and guide organizational decisions, programme delivery and day-to-day operations. We review and apply them to support consistent accountability and responsible practice.

Financial Management & Procurement
GI4C budgets, authorizes, documents and reports the use of organizational resources in line with its financial procedures. Procurement decisions follow established requirements for transparency, fairness and organizational need.
Diversity, Equity & Non-Discrimination
GI4C applies standards for respectful, inclusive and equitable treatment of staff, volunteers, partners and community members, without discrimination or harassment.
Safeguarding & Protection
GI4C applies safeguarding procedures to prevent and respond to abuse, exploitation, harassment and other forms of harm in its activities, with particular attention to children and adults at risk.
Conflict of Interest & Ethical Conduct
GI4C requires people acting on its behalf to disclose relevant conflicts of interest and make decisions in the organization’s legitimate interests, in accordance with its ethical conduct procedures.
Data Protection & Privacy
GI4C applies data protection procedures to handle personal and community information responsibly, protect confidentiality and dignity, and safeguard how information is collected, used, stored and shared.
When a website form submission is accepted, its information is sent to GI4C through an email-delivery provider. The website does not automatically enroll newsletter requests in a mailing list. Please do not submit highly sensitive personal information. Contact info@gi4c.org to ask about or request removal of a submission.
Our Commitment
Accountability in practice
GI4C puts its governance policies and procedures into practice through assigned responsibilities, operational controls and oversight. We apply these procedures in our decisions and activities, review their implementation and address concerns and suspected misconduct through the appropriate organizational processes.
