Sustainable development requires more than good projects. People need the skills and leadership to act; organizations need effective systems and processes; and institutions need the capacity to coordinate, learn, adapt and sustain results. Without these foundations, valuable interventions, knowledge and investments can be lost when projects end, staff change or external support decreases.
We connect people, knowledge, technology and institutional capacity to stronger systems and action, helping organizations and institutions identify weaknesses, strengthen capabilities, improve processes, own their information and make better use of resources and evidence. This enables communities, civil society organizations, government institutions and development partners to build local ownership, improve performance, adapt to changing needs and sustain results beyond individual projects.
